Big Bear

Well, I got a few miles into the morning hike and heard a roar. I took a pause and had to laugh. Yep, that's a lion, tiger, and bear that I just passed. All the pictures I got are pretty bad since the sun just came up and was right in the camera. I think there was a wolf too. The bears were sleeping while the lion paced back and forth. The tiger had its eye on me and it seemed like I was a piece of bacon ready to be pounced on. The rest of the day was good, did 20 miles pretty fast knowing the earlier I get into town the better. Now I'm in bed at the hiker friendly and very cheap Nature's Inn ($40) at Big Bear. It's a nice place. Not too close to stores and food, but nice and cheap.
